Naughty Dog has finally released the latest Uncharted 4 update for the PS4 users this week. This update is a substantial one because it also adds the Survival Co-op DLC for free. This DLC was promised earlier in the multiplayer roadmap shared by Naughty Dog.
Uncharted 4’s Surival Co-op DLC update is around 3.8 GB in size. The larger size is likely related to the addition of the free DLC. You can download this update now on the PS4.
Naughty Dog had earlier detailed the Survival DLC and confirmed that it will have around 10 maps available at launch.
Across 50 waves and 10 maps, you’ll face off against Shoreline mercenaries, heavily armoured Brutes, Snipers, Hunters and more, that will only get more precise, more aggressive and better equipped as time goes on. Every 10 waves culminate in an intense boss battle, including our all-new Pirate Warlords.
Survival also features its own dedicated progression system, Relic Challenges, and loadouts. As you rank up, you’ll earn upgrades for your weapons, as well as new items, such as Survival-exclusive boosters. There are also vanity items that can only earned by playing Survival, but can be used to deck out your character in both Survival and Multiplayer.
The best part about the Survival Co-op DLC is that it can also be played offline and since it supports split-screen, it can be played with a co-op partner.
Uncharted 4 is available now exclusively for the PS4.
