During an on-going live stream on Twitch, Naughty Dog has just announced that the forthcoming PS4 remaster of its Uncharted series, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be getting a playable demo on PSN. The demo will be available starting from September 29.
Naughty Dog developers also discussed the slew of improvements that went into the PS4 remaster, including the cutscenes for each game, which have been redone by developer Bluepoint.
In response to a question regarding the omission of a multiplayer mode from Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, the developer said that Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3’s respective multiplayer modes still have a dedicated user base, and it didn’t want to fragment the multiplayer community by making the mutliplayer available on the PS4.
It is currently unknown whether the demo will provide a sneak-peak at all three games. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be available in stores on October 9.
