According to a official post on the United Front Games website, they are working on a new game called “Triad Wars”, which is supposedly set in the Sleeping Dogs universe. Seems like we will finally get to see a brand new game with the same lovely Sleeping Dogs character after all.
Sleeping Dogs was a popular open world action game set in Hong Kong. It was like a Asian version of Grand Theft Auto and was well liked and received by the gaming crowd. It feels good to know that we are soon going to see a spiritual successor to this game since Square Enix apparently wasn’t happy with the sales.

“So, we’re making a new game! We can’t say a lot about it right now, but you might have read about a trademark registration for something called Triad Wars? Well, we’re super-excited that it’s another game based in the Sleeping Dogs universe, it’s something we’ve wanted to do for ages, and we’re very happy to be working with Square Enix again… but that’s all we can give you for the time being – we’ll have more information about what the game’s going to be in 2014.
The game will be unveiled in 2014 so it seems like this will likely target PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
