Valkyria Chronicles 4 Gets A Free Demo, Progress Carries Over To The Full Game

Sega has released a free demo for Valkyria Chronicles ahead of its launch on September 25th. This demo is available for the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and can be downloaded from their respective digital storefronts. If you download the demo, you will be able to experience the game’s prologue and first 2 chapters before it launches on September 25th.

The details of the demo were also shared by Atlus confirming that the save data that you will create by playing this demo will be carried over to the full game, and you will also get a little bonus for playing it early.

In the Valkyria Chronicles 4 Demo, available now as a free download on the PlayStation™Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo Switch™ eShop, you’ll join Commander Claude Wallace and his comrades in Squad E as they begin the first steps of Operation Northern Cross. Experience the series’ signature watercolor aesthetic as presented by the CANVAS Engine and get a feel for the innovative tactical BLiTZ system before the full game launches on September 25. Play through the prologue and first two chapters of the game, as well as an exclusive bonus mission created for the demo. Demo save data, including items obtained, class levels, earned experience, and currency total will transfer over to the full game, so you can pick up right where you left off. Additionally, importing save data from the demo will net you an exclusive accessory for use in the full game.

Additionally, digital pre-orders of the game are now available on all platforms. If you pre-order the game digitally, you will get early access to ‘A Captainless Squad’ DLC for free. This will be released after launch in late-October and cost $4.99 for those who didn’t pre-order the game. Additionally, you can also get some extra items on the PS4 including a theme and avatar set.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be out on September 25th for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
