Valkyria Chronicles Remastered Western Release Confirmed For PS4, New Screenshots Revealed

Valkyria Chronicles

Along with Japan, the remastered version of Sega’s RPG title, Valkyria Chronicles will be available in both North America and Europe in Spring 2016 for PS4. This was announced by the game’s developers via a press release.

No specific release date for the game was given, but the developers have confirmed that the game will be available both digitally as well as physically at a price of only $29.99 for PS4. The Western version will feature Japanese and English dual audio along with the trophies. The package will also include the original DLC. So all of this at a price of only $29.99 isn’t even close to bad.

Though there is still no word on the demo of Valkyria Azure Revolution that if it will be released in the West too, or will it remain exclusive to Japan? We can only wait to find that out.

Sega has also announced that those who pre-order the game in North America will get a limited edition Steelbook case. However, the Steelbook case will be available only with a few launch copies of Valkyria Chronicles.

The developers have also released some new screenshots of the game along with the box art of the Steelbook case to give players a glimpse at what they’ll get. You can have a look at those screenshots below.

Valkyria Chronicles was originally released for PS3 back in 2008. The game was later released on PC in November 2014 and now, a remastered version of the game will be released for PS4 in Spring 2016.
