Sega has announced at PAX West that Valkyria Chronicles 1 Remastered will make its way to the Nintendo Switch. This is ahead of the launch of Valkyria Chronicles 4, which is due out this month. This remaster is already available for the PS4 and PC but it will be the first time the game is ported to the Nintendo Switch hardware.
Valkyria Chronicles 1 originally launched for the PS3 and was later ported to the PC. It was released as a Remastered version for the PS4 which didn’t really include any major change aside from minor visual upgrades.
Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will be available to purchase on October 16th for $19.99 and those who have bought Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be able to get the game at a discount of 25% less than the launch price. It is already included to launch alongside Valkyria Chronicles 4 in Japan, however, the announcement for the Western release was made just recently.
