Vanquish Announced For PC With Trailer, Releasing May 25th

Sega has finally announced the long rumored Vanquish PC port in a new announcement trailer. The trailer also confirms a release date of May 25th for the PC version of the game. The game will be released on PC with additional features that were not present on the consoles including an unlocked resolution and frame rate.

Vanquish is an action packed third person shooter from Platinum Games. It was directed by Shinji Mikami of the Resident Evil fame and was considered one of the most stylish third person shooter on consoles when it was released. It allowed the user to slide and shoot their way across a variety of locations while killing a horde of robots.

You can watch the announcement trailer for Vanquish below.

The PC version has been tweaked to support an unlocked resolution so you will be able to run the game at 4K resolution if you want. The console version of the game was running at 720p with 30 FPS so the PC version is already an upgrade resolution wise. In addition to the resolution, the frame rate is also unlocked on PC so you can hope to play it at 4K and 120 FPS if you want to do so.

Vanquish will launch on May 25th for the PC through Steam.
