Vote for your FIFA 17 cover star today

Since FIFA 13, Messi has been the footballing star on the cover of the FIFA  games. However, after his four year deal with EA expired, there are four possible footballers who could take his place to grace the cover of FIFA 17. Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez.

FIFA 17’s cover vote starts today, so in order to pick the footballing star you want to see on the cover, head over to the official website and choose from the four footballing talents.

“Four of the best talents in world football. One global FIFA 17 cover star. The decision is in your hands. Vote and share each day from July 5 to July 19 to get your favourite star on the pack and unlock awesome weekly rewards in FIFA 16.”

EA Sports senior producer Nick Channon says:

“James, Martial, Hazard, and Reus represent exciting, attacking football and epitomize the innovative play that fans can expect in FIFA 17. We’re excited to see fans rally around their favorite players and see who they select as the cover star for the franchise and the footballer who will represent FIFA 17 globally.”

The vote for the cover star ends on July 19, as mentioned before. A winner will be announced later this month. FIFA 17 will be released for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Players on last-gen consoles will not be able to experience the game’s new story mode.
