Japanese magazine Famitsu has posted their review scores for the month of September. This month we have some major releases in Japan; headlined by Koei Tecmo’s Warriors Orochi 4, Nihon Falcom’s Cold Steel IV and Square Enix’s The World Ends with You.
Warriors Orochi 4, the latest in the Dynasty and Samurai Warriors mashup sub-series, received the highest score of the month at 35/40. The game releases in the West next month, October 16 in NA and 19 in Europe. Platforms are Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The one review I was looking forward to the most was The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV. Developers Falcom recently revealed that the Cold Steel sub-series had crossed 1.5 million in sales, so they must have come with something special for the final entry in the series. The game got a 33/40 which is the second highest for a game in TLOH series. For comparison here’s the scores for the other games:

Honestly don’t really agree with some of the scores but hey, I’m sure the game is really good. Cold Steel IV releases in Japan for the PS4 on September 27, 2018. No plans for a Western release have been announced.
Lastly the Switch bound The World Ends with You: Final Remix got a 33/40, they gave the original 35/40. TWEWY: Final Remix releases next month on October 12, 2018.
