Ubisoft has released a new teaser trailer for Watch Dogs 2 that also confirms the world premiere which is set for June 8th.
This teaser trailer also has the main protagonist off-screen with just his hands visible with a smartphone. The protagonist appears to match what we saw earlier thanks to a leaked image that was discovered on a voice over artist. You can view this teaser trailer below.
Watch Dogs is a new open world IP from Ubisoft that was released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC in 2014. The game set new sales record for Ubisoft on its launch. Watch Dogs was inspired from the open world design of Grand Theft Auto series and attempted to spice things up with the inclusion of a protagonist who could hack almost any network and thus had control over a variety of electronic objects including electricity and bridges. This resulted in an interesting premise for the original game although it remains to be seen how far Ubisoft is taking it for the upcoming sequel.
Watch Dogs 2 will be revealed on June 8th at 6 pm CEST on the official website of the game. It is currently confirmed for a release this year for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
