Watch Dogs 2 is reportedly set to launch on November 15th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. This is according to a leaked promotional material for the game that managed to sneak ahead of the official announcement on June 8th.
The promotional artwork can be seen below and it also reveals the main protagonist, which matches the earlier leak of the main character through one of the voice actor’s Instagram account.
The promotional artwork also shows the Golden Gate bridge of San Francisco in the background which confirms the location of the city for this sequel.
Watch Dogs was a unique take on the open world formula of Grand Theft Auto series that added hacking abilities to the mix allowing users to perform various tasks like hack into security feeds or shut down electricity. This resulted in a different gameplay experience compared to what we have seen in other similar open world games. It remains to be seen what the sequel has in store for us considering it will follow the same formula set by its predecessor.
Watch Dogs 2 is currently confirmed for PS4, Xbox One and PC and will launch on November 15th. An official reveal with trailer will happen tomorrow on June 8th at 6 PM CEST.
