After the unforeseen departure of Aiden Pearce from the first Watch Dogs game. The new E3 gameplay video shows us the new Protagonist “Markus” hacking his way through everything in Bay Area.
The game seems to have borrowed the theme of cyber revolution from groups like Anonymous and TV shows like Mr. Robot and Person of Interest. The approach isn’t something new or unique but it sets a promising premise for a game such as Watch Dogs. From what we’ve seen in the latest gameplay video, gameplay elements like hacking and disruption are making a stronger comeback and are much more integrated into the world this time around.
A welcome change in the sequel is that the game has taken a much more light hearted theme with its protagonist in comparison to the grim personality of Aiden Pearce. As always, you can choose to complete missions with all guns blazing or silent as a mouse.
