After being delayed time and time again, Ubisoft Montreal is finally ready to release one of the biggest titles of all time, Watch Dogs.
The game has been in development for Five and a half years according to the Ubiblog and now it has gone gold. For those of you who don’t know what going gold means, it means that the game has been completely developed.
The Creative Director for Ubisoft Montreal said, “It’s exciting to be gold but it’ll be more exciting when people are playing. For the fans it means that it’s true. It means there will be no such thing as another delay. But for us, it’s not done until they actually have it in their hands.”
Watch Dogs has built up a lot of excitement within fans who have been waiting for the open-world, action game since its reveal. The fans got to see the game in action a couple of days ago when Ubisoft uploaded a 9 minute trailer to their YouTube channel.
We’ve also learned about the game’s performance in terms of FPS as well as the resolution difference in the PlayStation 4 version and the Xbox One version of the game. It is obvious that if you want to fully experience what Watch Dogs has to offer, then you should play it on the PlayStation 4.
Watch Dog is almost here as the release date for the open world action game is the 27th of May and it will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. The Wii U version is still on track for a release this year.
