Watch Dogs: PS4 vs Xbox One Graphics Comparison

Watch Dogs is one of the most hyped game of this month and it is very close to its official release. Now that the game is out in the hands of some lucky users – since the street date has been apparently broken – we can finally see some decent comparison in the form of screenshots and videos.

Thanks to YouTube user Jason Knothe, we can see a proper video comparison between Watch Dogs on the PS4 and Xbox One. Check it out below.

This comparison is surprisingly well done and shows the details and changes between each version in a neat way.

From this comparison, it is apparent that the PS4 has slightly better quality shadows compared to the Xbox One. We can also notice that jaggies aren’t as visible on the PS4 because of the higher resolution, meanwhile Xbox One has noticeably worse aliasing. The textures appear to be a match for both of them though. In the end, the different isn’t really that big except for the difference in pixels. Xbox One renders at 792p while the PS4 settles for 900p. Both run at locked 30 fps though, and seem to sustain this for the most part.

Which version of Watch Dogs are you going to get yourself? Let us know in the comments below.
