Creative Director, Jonathan Morin said to Videogamer that there could be an opportunity where Ubisoft can alternate between Watch_Dogs and Assassins’s Creed series on a yearly basis, before saying that the publisher, Ubisoft, is waiting for the reaction from gamers on Watch_Dogs.
Could be. I don’t know. Right now I’m focussing on Watch Dogs The Game, and we’ll see when it comes out and people can scream their reaction and afterwards we’ll see what happens…
There’s no point in being hasty about those things afterwards. Let’s just wait and see and not be cocky about it.
Morin said.
Jonathan Morin is also unconcerned with the fact that Assassins’s Creed 4 could cannibalize Watch_Dogs sales. He stated that Black Flag and Watch_Dogs feels very different and if GTA is brought into the equation, it completes three biggest titles, and yet they are significantly different games. He said:
“Assassin’s Creed is a brand that’s been there for a long time so it makes sense that they have something for the launch, and us, it’s a new fresh thing, completely different. So I think it makes a nice balance between the two. It’s a good competition thing. I’m not too concerned about it.”

Lastly Jonathan Morin also confirmed that the current-gen versions will require a mandatory install and that next-gen versions will run at 30fps.
