Wii U Exclusive Bayonetta 2 Rated For Australia, E3 Announcement Incoming?

Bayonetta 2 has been rated for the Wii U in Australia. Does this mean we are going to get an official announcement about its release date in the West at this E3?

According to Australian Classification Board, the game has received a Mature (M 15+) rating for strong fantasy and violence.

Bayonetta 2 is the sequel in the cult hit series featuring a witch, who actually uses her own hair to not only use as her own clothes, but can also use them to dish out some serious moves against her enemies.

The game is being developer by Platinum Games and will be published by Nintendo. While the original Bayonetta was directed by acclaimed director Hideki Kamiya, who also directed the very first Devil May Cry, he is not working on the sequel. Although he is still going to assist the development team while another director will take charge of the development of the game.

The game definitely seems like a 2014 release but I guess we can find this out soon enough at the upcoming E3.

The original game was released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 but the sequel is exclusive to the Wii U.
