The Witcher 3 Patch 1.11 Includes Fix For Missing Roach And Adjusts Boss Difficulty For HoS Expansion

CD Project Red’s Community Lead Marcin Momot has confirmed some of the changes that they plan to include in the latest patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. As detailed by Momot, the upcoming patch will update the game to version 1.11 and it also adjusts the difficulty for some of the Hearts of Stone expansion boss battles.

The Witcher 3’s last update was a major one that weighed in at more than 10 GB and it was released ahead of the launch of the new expansion called Hearts of Stone. This expansion delivers new story content offering gameplay worth more than 10 hours to the game.

Apparently this new expansion had a rather steep learning curve but the good news is that CD Project Red is planning to tweak it in the new patch, as confirmed by Marcin Momot.

I just asked around the studio and it turns out there will be some balancing changes to all of the boss encounters in HoS with patch 1.11.

Another fix in the new patch is related to the missing Roach in the Hearts of Stone expansion. CD Project Red will reveal the full changes of the patch at a later date.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
