The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open world action RPG like Skyrim. CD Project Red seems to have taken their inspiration from the open world of Skyrim for The Witcher 3, which has a much bigger world than Skyrim. They have also put this hilarious easter egg in the game, which points to a popular meme based on Skyrim.
This easter egg is taken from the card game in The Witcher 3. One of the card description reads as “I aim for the Knee. Always” which is definitely a nod to the popular Skyrim meme “I took an Arrow in the Knee”.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a gorgeous looking game but we haven’t seen much of its weather effects. A new animated GIF shows us how the weather effects looks in the final version of the game. CD Project Red has definitely nailed the look of the weather effects for The Witcher 3 here.
