Wolfenstein Youngblood Runs At 1440p And 60 FPS With Dynamic Resolution On PS4 Pro

Wolfenstein Youngblood is out now for the PS4. It is a spin-off from the Wolfenstein series that implements co-op elements and takes the series in a different direction.

Digital Foundry has shared its technical analysis of Wolfenstein Youngblood and revealed some interesting information on the resolution and frame rate for the game.

Wolfenstein Youngblood runs at a dynamic resolution for both PS4 and PS4 Pro. It targets 1440p on the PS4 Pro and can drop below that with the dynamic resolution option. This setting seems to have carried from the previous Wolfenstein games and it enables the game to run at locked 60 FPS if you pick the Aggressive setting.

Wolfenstein Youngblood runs ta a dynamic 1080p resolution on PS4 that can drop down on one axis on PS4 just like it was the case with PS4 Pro. The lowest recorded resolution for both platforms is 1440*1080 on PS4 and 1726*1440 on PS4 Pro.

Wolfenstein Youngblood is also available on the Xbox One and supports the Xbox One X. The game was ported to the Nintendo Switch as well by Panic Button. There is no information available on the state of these two different consoles but it should be noted that Wolfenstein 2 was able to run at native 4K on the Xbox One X so it can be a similar case here as well.
