Xbox Game Pass Lineup For October 2018 – Wolfenstein, Horizon 4, And More

Microsoft announced the Xbox Live Games with Gold lineup today, and also shared the Xbox Game Pass additions for October 2018.

As we posted earlier, Wolfenstein: The New Order will be a part of the upcoming Xbox Game Pass additions. Forza Horizon 4 will be also available to play at launch for all the subscribers. In addition to these two games, the following were announced at the Inside Xbox live stream.

  • Forza Horizon 4
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order
  • Metro 2033 Redux
  • Westerado: Double Barreled
  • Lego Indiana Jones (Xbox 360 Backward Compatible Game)
  • Shante 1/2 Genie Hero
  • Split Second (Xbox 360 Backward Compatible Game)

This is certainly an interesting lineup of games. Forza Horizon 4 is the best-rated racing game and the overall highest rated exclusive of all time on the Xbox One. It has managed to get universal critical acclaim and currently sits at a critics average score of 92.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is the first Wolfenstein game that was followed by a sequel in 2017. It doesn’t support any additional enhancements for the Xbox One X but the dynamic resolution setup means it might stick more closely to native 4K on the Xbox One X. As for the rest of the games, they seem to be well divided into different genres.

Xbox Game Pass is a monthly subscription service that is available for $9.99 on the Xbox One and features more than 100 games.
