Xbox Game Pass Now Offers All Latest First Party Games Including Upcoming Halo And Gears

In a rather surprise move, Microsoft has announced today that their Xbox Game Pass subscription service will now include all of their first party published games on launch day. This means you will be able to play the latest Gears of War, Halo and Forza all on your Xbox One with the Xbox Game Pass. The full games will be offered on the service which is a move that is unprecedented in history.

EA Access has an early access program for all of their published games but it is a timed limited demo for the most part. Compared to EA Access, Microsoft has promised the full game and it is simply not just limited to old releases, but the latest games that will be available day one on the Xbox Game Pass service.

Microsoft has released an announcement trailer along with teasing that a new Gears of War, Halo and Forza games are in development for the Xbox One.

Sea of Thieves will be the first game to join the Xbox Game Pass beginning in March 20th. This will be followed by games like State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3 and more as they are announced at the upcoming E3.

Xbox Game Pass is a monthly as well yearly subscription service. If you are in the mood for getting more than 100 games straight on your Xbox One, you can get the service for $9.99 per month or pay the price of $59.99 for 6 months of the service.
