Microsoft has shared the list of games that will be available to Xbox Live Gold users for the month of October 2017. As expected, the official list of games is nowhere close to what was rumored before the announcement and judging from the games listed here, it appears to be a rather disappointing month.
For the month of October 2017, Xbox Live Gold users will be able to download the following Xbox One and Xbox 360 backwards compatible games.
- The Turing Test
- Gone Home
- Rayman 3 HD
- Medal of Honor: Airborne
This month was preceded by September 2017 with games like Forza Motorspot 7 and Oxenfree so coming off from a strong month, it is disappointing to see the result here.
Xbox Live Gold users usually get 4 games each month with the Games with Gold. The announcement of Xbox 360 backwards compatibility has now resulted in the Xbox 360 games also being backwards compatible on the Xbox One so the total games count has increased to 4.
In addition to Xbox Live Games with Gold, Microsoft also offers a monthly Games service called Xbox Game Pass. This service offers more than 100 games that can be downloaded and played any time and you can subscribe for the price of $9.99 per month.
