Xbox Live Games with Gold for July 2016 are due for an official announcement soon, but a partial list of the games might have been leaked online ahead of the announcement.
This leak was made by a credible insider ekim on gaming forum NeoGAF, who is usually spot on with his leaks in the past, especially the ones that are related to Microsoft. According to him, the upcoming Games with Gold lineup includes Banner Saga 2 for the Xbox One and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for the Xbox 360.
Banner Saga 2 still hasn’t received a release on consoles which makes this rumor rather dubious, but ekim is pretty confident in this leak. According to him, Banner Saga 2 will be released later in July so it is possible that it is one of the other Xbox One game for Xbox Live Games with Gold. There are usually two games each month with the first one being made available from the start of the month to 15th, followed by the second game from 15th till the end of the month.
Keep in mind that Games with Gold usually has four games in the lineup and ekim only has heard about two of them. He states that he has some idea about the other game for Xbox One being Warrior Orochi 3 but he is not 100% sure about it.
Microsoft will announce the Games with Gold lineup for the Xbox One this week, so in any case, we might get an official confirmation regarding this rumor soon.
