Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox Live is currently experiencing issues for “Social and Gaming” service. The services that are affected include In-game matchmaking, cloud storage, finding friends, Game DVR, leaderboards, avatar editing, or pictures and this issue is persistent on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Microsoft has shared an update on the official Xbox Live status page stressing that they are looking into fixing it as soon as possible.

Hey Xbox members, are you having trouble matchmaking in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on Xbox One or Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on Xbox 360? We are working with our engineers to resolve this issue ASAP! Thank you for being patient. We’ll post another update when more information becomes available.]

Update: This has been resolved now.

This issue has been currently on-going for a few hours and while the rest of the Xbox Live service is working as intended, matchmaking is noticeably impacted. Hopefully Microsoft can resolve this issue as soon as possible.
