Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Adds Chronicles of Mystara and more

Microsoft has added two new backwards compatible games for the Xbox One. Fallout New Vegas and Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara are the latest games to be added to Xbox One backwards compatibility.

Fallout: New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment, and it is widely considered as the better game in the Fallout series. It was unfortunately full of bugs and technical issues at launch, which resulted in some harsh criticism regarding the state of the game. Fortunately, the actual game, aside from the technical issues, was great and it is usually consider a much better game than Fallout 3.

Dungeon and Dragons: Chronicles of the Mystara is a side-scrolling beat em’up game from Capcom. This was originally released for the Arcades and later remade for consoles. It features characters from the classic Dungeon and Dragons universe.

That’s not all as there’s also Blood Nights, Red Faction and Joe Danger getting the BC treatment.

The above three are joined by Crystal Quest, Comic Jumper and I Am Alive.

Microsoft has added backwards compatibility to the Xbox One starting November 2015 and continues to add new games to the list of compatible games almost every month. The full list of Xbox 360 games that can be played on the Xbox One can be seen from here. Microsoft is also looking into way to bring the original Xbox games to the Xbox One.
