Crackdown 3 was originally revealed at E3 2014 although it has yet to be properly re-introduced by Microsoft. The game featured cloud computing technology to offer huge destructive environment. This was back when Microsoft was boosting about cloud computing and how it could benefit Xbox One. They have since took a complete turn over it and none of their current games are utilizing cloud computing in any meaningful way aside from Crackdown 3.
Crackdown 3 has been in the shadows for a while now but if you were skeptical about the game’s release this year, the official Twitter account has all but confirmed that Crackdown 3 is confirmed for this year. It remains to be seen what kind of changes it has underwent during the period where nothing about it was shown.

Crackdown is an Xbox exclusive franchise that features a huge open world and boosts destructible environment for the players. The game is targeting online multiplayer but has been rumored to also include a single player campaign as well.
Microsoft is starting the E3 with their conference on June 11th and they will reveal the Xbox Scorpio there along with potential new game announcements. You can look forward to seeing Crackdown 3 there as well.
