The first game announced for the New Nintendo 3DS is a great one. Xenoblade Chronicles, considered to be many the best JRPG of last generation, is confirmed to be in development for the New Nintendo 3DS.
The New Nintendo 3DS has new and improved hardware and Xenoblade Chronicles will be able to take advantage of all the extra power. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata talked on stream about how they wanted to make the game for the old 3DS but the hardware didn’t allow them to do so.
[youtube width=”602″ height=”350″ video_id=”rBop-Dqp2ik”]Iwata also confirmed that many other titles are currently in development for the New Nintendo 3DS and will be revealed at a later date. A release date for Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS is not yet announced.
