Previously known as just Monolith Soft’s X, the upcoming Wii U JRPG title will now be known as Xenoblade Chronicles X. Monolith Soft are claiming that the game will serve as a spiritual successor to the Wii game of the same name.

Xenoblade Chronicles received sort of a full media blowout at this E3 where Nintendo released a new trailer, shared a ton of information regarding the game and even showed off a 30 minute gameplay demo. Check out the first story trailer below:

Xenoblade Chronicles X’s protagonist will be user created and will allow players to choose details like their gender, shapes, height, skin, color, voice, tattoos, etc.
