Although Yakuza Kiwami released in the West back in 2017 for the PS4, the PC release is still yet to arrive. This could very well change as Yakuza Kiwami on Steam has received a package update, which could mean the game is releasing soon.
Yakuza Kiwami is the remake of the original Yakuza title which released in 2006 for the PS2. Kiwami not only improved the game graphically by upping the resolution, frame rate and textures but the Ryū ga Gotoku Studio went a step ahead and added more content to the game to help structure the story better.
Kiwami also helped connect the story to game’s prequel Yakuza 0, set around a decade before the original. Yakuza 0 released for PC in August of this year and was a fairly decent port, so we have high expectations from Kiwami.
