Tactical RPG Legend Yasumi Matsuno is finally making a brand new game and it is called Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians. It is being developed by Playdek. The Kickstarter for this game has officially started and its stretch goals include a VITA and 3DS version as well.
Yasumi Matsuno is the legendary game designer, who worked at Square Enix. His earlier work includes cult classic Vargant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy XII. He left Square Enix in the middle of development of Final Fantasy XII and went on to pursue a career as independent game designer. He is currently working on his brand new tactical RPG and is currently seeking funds for it on Kickstarter.

The project currently requires $600k to be fully funded. It also has a VITA stretch goal at $1.8 million and 3DS stretch goal at $2.8 million. It will be coming to PC, MAC, iOS and Android and if it meets the stretch goals, the VITA and 3DS.
