Yo-Kai Watch 4 New Gameplay Trailer Gives An Overview Of Exploration And Combat

Yo-kai Watch was once an extremely popular IP in Japan that sold millions of copies with ease, although its fame is not the same, the upcoming sequel looks promising and closer to the original vision that the developers had for the game.

Yo-kai Watch 4 is confirmed for the Nintendo Switch. The new gameplay trailer gives an overview of the exploration in the world of Yo-kai Watch while also providing some combat and story footage. You can watch it all in action below.

All of the previous Yo-kai Watch games have been released for the Nintendo 3DS. This also includes the many spin-offs based on the Yo-kai Watch IP by Level 5.

Yo-kai Watch 4 was originally set to launch in Japan last year but was delayed to Spring 2019. It still doesn’t have an official release date, and once the game is actually out in Japan, we will have to likely wait a long while before there is a Western release.

Yo-kai Watch 4 is currently only confirmed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. It is being developed and published by Level 5, which were recently rumored to face a mass exodus of employees.
