While playing Yooka-Laylee, players will perform a lot of the actions that will consume their Power Bar. Abilities, and other moves make the Power Bar deplete, and once it goes all the way down, players can no longer perform the abilities.
At the start of the game, players will have to keep their eye on the Power Bar and make sure they always have enough power to perform a move. This can hinder the player’s ability to take down enemies or complete a goal. The Power Bar can be extended by picking up Power Bar Extenders. These increase your overall all Power, allowing you to perform more actions, without having to worry about your Power Bar.
This guide will help you find and collect all the Power Extenders in Yooka-Laylee, so that you don’t have to worry about running out of Power.
Power Bar Extender Locations In Yooka-Laylee:
Collecting Power Bar Extenders is very important in Yooka-Laylee, as you will have to perform a lot of abilities in order to take down enemies in the later stages of the game. There is a Power Bar Extender in every world, so you won’t be able to fully extend your Power Bar at the start of the game.
Power Bar Extender #1:
The first extender is located in the TribalStack Tropics. However, before you start looking for the Power Bar Extender, you will have to expand the map. Once you have done so, you can start looking for the first Power Bar Extender.
Look for a Huge tower in the distance and start making you way towards it. Once you have reached the gate that leads to the tower, climb the walkway above the game and make it to the top of it. Once you are on the top, make your way towards the right side. Keep moving until you reach the top of the tower, where you see a mine cart.
On the right side of the mine cart, you will see some wooden planks. Jump on the wooden planks, and climb all the way up. Keep climbing until you see a cannon. On the side of the cannon, you will see a tomb. Activate the tomb and follow the moving platforms, until you reach the first Power Extender.
Power Bar Extender #2:
The second Power Bar Extender is in the Glitterglaze Glacier world. To get the second Power Extender, players will need the moves, Lizard Leap and Slurp State. Once you have the abilities, head to the starting location of the world. Use Lizard Leap to reach the area above the starting location and make your way through the door. Grab a cannon ball to make sure you stay grounded and make your way down the slippery slope, and you will see the Power Bar Extender in front of you.
Power Bar Extender #3:
Before you start looking for the third Power Bar Extender in the Moodymaze Marsh, you will have to expand the map. Once you have done that, look for a big wooden structure that has the Red Ghost Writer sitting on the top. Find the pumpkin that gives you a time trial challenge, but instead of doing the challenge, follow the grappling path.
Keep progressing through the grappling path until you reach a platform that requires a block to be pulled down. Pull it down and climb up. Now that you are on the next platform, turn around and look up. You will see the Power Bar Extender inside a funnel. Start climbing up and get the Power Bar Extender.
Power Bar Extender #4:
In order to get the fourth Power Bar Extender, players will have to use the Mollycool of the Capital Cashino world. Once you have done that, make your way towards the center of the world, where you can see the golden statues. Look for a giant puzzle ball, and the Power Bar Extender will be on the top.
Power Bar Extender #5:
For the fifth Power Bar Extender, players will have to go to the Tonic Lady in the Galleon Galaxy. When you are at the Tonic Lady, go into the room with the Bomb Plant, and get a bomb. Once you have the bomb, go out and follow the path around the island, and stop at the large boulders blocking the path and blow them up.
Progress through the area that you just opened up and solve the puzzle. Once you deactivate all the red barrier, go back to the Spinning Room and interact with the object in the middle of the room. You will be rewarded with the Power Bar Extender you are looking for.
Power Bar Extender #6:
For the final Power Bar Extender, players will have to go to the Hivory Tower and start at the beginning of the world. Look for a giant gold statue, and use Buddy Slam on its nose. This will break the nose off and the Power Bar Extender will be inside.
