Falcom has finally given a proper reveal to Ys IX: Monstrum Nox earlier with a detailed spread on their website. The blowout includes a first proper look at the game’s characters and how the game will actually play like.
Here’s the first look at Ys IX: Monstrum Nox’s world and the different environments players will be able to explore.
As far as the gameplay is concerned we’re seeing a proper evolution of the YS style Action RPG movement and combat that we’re used to. In YS IX: Monstrum Nox players will be able to use the different Monstrum abilities of their characters to explore never before seen places and hard to get areas as well as add a brand new dimension to combat. YS IX: Monstrum Nox is slated for a Fall 2019 release in Japan for the PS4.
